I’ve always been passionate about innovation—before launching Pup List, I was Head of Solutions at TikTok. But my true passion? Changing the way we shop for our pets.

After struggling to find an easy, seamless way to celebrate my own pets and curate the best products, I knew there had to be a better way. So, I created Pup List—a platform designed to make pet gifting, shopping, and planning easier (and way more fun).

With a deep love for animals and a data-driven approach to pet care, I built Pup List to help pet parents everywhere find the perfect products, services, and experiences for their furry family members.

My mission? To change the pet industry furever—one registry at a time.

A love story—but with more fur

Our founder, Jessica Karcz, was busy trying to change the world through non-profits in Washington, D.C.🌎, when a four-legged tornado named Buddy came crashing in. 🐾💥 Becoming a dog mom was everything—pure joy, endless cuddles, and, well… absolute mayhem. Potty training disasters, surprise vet bills, and one too many chewed-up shoes (RIP, favorite heels 😭)—turns out, raising a pup was way harder (and pricier) than expected.

Friends wanted to help, but the gifts? Adorable, but not always what a new pet parent actually needs. Pee pads? Yes. That 12th stuffed toy? Maybe not. That’s when it hit her—why wasn’t there a registry for pets, just like for weddings and babies? 🤔

Determined to fix it, Jessica got to work. She dreamed up a space where pet parents could easily curate must-haves, share wishlists with family and friends, and discover the best products personalized to their pet’s breed, lifestyle, and quirks (yes, even that cat who only drinks from the sink). 🚀
